Stress has nothing to do with the external world. For example, a cigarette is a source of pain for one, but it’s a source of pleasure for another. Now, if pleasure or pain were in the cigarette, then would the cigarette not have the same effect on everyone?

A man goes to a lawyer to divorce his wife, while another is anxiously waiting to marry her. The woman is a source of joy and at the same time, a source of sorrow! Realistically, if joy and sorrow were in the same lady, then would she not have the same effect on everyone?
